Yes..of course... Thank you..
Fabulous always..
The first time I got take-away I was not satisfied with not sloppy they put the sushi together but I decided to give them another chance... This time I got burned tuna at home ! I got 2 different rolls and both tasted awful...! They clearly don't care about their take-away costumers....
Amazing food.
Excellent omakase sushi. We are big sushi snobs and this is classic LA wonderful sushi - amazing ingredients, friendly chef and sketchy strip mall location!
Korean sushi. Very unpleasant $2 surprise charge for hot tea. They might as well charge for wasabi and ginger. Food is standard. Pass.
My veggie bowl-lito was so tasty! I didn't even realize that I was eating tofu. It was super tasty. I give it a 5/5. Their Green Tea Chocolate Chip tastes sooo amazing!! It's a pretty large and thick cookie. It was soft and a bit fluffy. I also give the cookie a 5/5. I would come back to this place.
Delicious! Stopped in while being tourist and had the place to ourselves. Server was very attentive and rolls were perfect (so perfect we ordered a third!).
I have been coming here for more than 10 years, and was proud of having in Hollywood one of the best Sushi places in LA...small, friendly and most important high quality Sushi.Went yesterday for a very special occasion with my wife and got RIPPED OFF by the new team, (IKE is not there anymore, BEWARE) $200 for 4 plates, one with TWO (yes TWO) oysters.I told them to look well at my face, because this was the last time they would see it.What a RAPE of my wallet. If i wanted a fancy Sushi place I would have gone to one, at least I would had received the expensive place treatment, here the chef did NOT even look at us the all night, while we seated at the Sushi bar.So sad to see such a good place go down so fast.
Best sushi ever. Order off the board.
Arigato Moscato 🙏🏼
Amazing sushi, sit at the bar for Omakase and enjoy. Been coming here weekly for a decade. It’s not as expensive as snooty spots and the cuts and quality are great. Can’t believe I didn’t review it before now, oops.
I'd heard about this place for years. Apparently the fish was amazing when Ike (pronounced Ee-Kay) actually worked there. He's the kind of sushi chef who keeps separate knives for different fish because the oils on the blades will affect flavor. He sold to slice fish somewhere else a few years back.Today's Sushi Ike is expensive but tasty. Had a very buttery Norway trout, & oysters full of flavor. You can get some decent stuff for an okay price if you don't order any drinks, but it is a very small restaurant so you may have to wait for a seat.
Service was good but I ordered California Roll and it wasn't tasty at all, kind of bland.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. The sushi here is great! Super fresh, and prepared quickly. I was previously apprehensive about eating here because it’s in this ignorable shopping center with a 7-11, but a trusted friend informed me about the good food and I’m glad I listened.
Based on the reviews here we ate at Sushi Ike, and it was great. We tried the grilled octopus and it was easily the best octopus I have ever had. The fish was some of the freshest I have had, and the portions were large, thick slices. Many sushi places have a lot of rice, to provide fill, not the case here, it is a lot of fish and a little rice. Also, the Miso was cooked just for us, hot & fresh, very delish.I called for reservations, which were necessary, I wish we could reserve a parking space, the tiny lot only holds about 30 cars in this shopping center. It was a little pricy, but worth every cent. $60 worth of sushi for 2 people.
No longer owned by Ike-san; still good quality, but very expensive. Service was not that friendly and a bit snobby. Will not be coming back.
I positively love this restaurant. I visit alone , with family and with coworkers on a regular basis. We have always been seated quickly. The customer service is always respectful kind. The drinks selection is good . The sushi is delicious. We have tried from the basic menu as well as the special menu. The lunch special is also a great deal. The misdo soup it comes with is good, my personal favorite is the Teriyaki Salmon. The amount of positive things I can say about this little place are unlimited.
Solid food here.
Great sushi fresh. Friendly sushi staff.
Awesome sushi!! Very traditional
Sushi isn't amazing but passable for a quick meal before a show.
My favorite sushi place in LA! The service has always been incredibly polite.
The portions are huge, the fish is top notch, and the owner is just a really nice person. These are usually the three categories I use to judge a sushi spot and this place ranks on the top for them all. I eat here as often as possible and will continue to do so for as long as we both may live.
This place has consistently made the best sushi I have eaten anywhere in the U.S. in the last 40 years. I also appreciate that traditional Japanese sushi is served.
Love this place. Been going there for years.
Authentic food at a reasonable price. The place is small but has loads of atmosphere.
Great spot!
Awesome sushi joint definitely an LA hidden jem
Great price, sushi tasted fresh, will definitely buy again for a quick take home dinner.
A nice little spot hidden in the corner. We stopped here to have dinner before a show at the Pantages. I ordered the sashimi salad which came with Miso soup. The salad was very refreshing and delicious. It came with a tangy ginger dressing which was so good!! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Loved our experience here, and would definitely visit again. Helpful info: Soft Drinks are by the can here.
Amazing Sushi place. My favorite
Probably one of the best hidden gems in Hollywood for extremely good sushi. A bit expensive but very yummy.
I have eaten omakase all around townThis omakase is more affordable than the other five star sushi restaurants around town and it doesn't disappoint. They always have new dishes and super fresh seafood.
Just ok. Not the same as when Ike was there. Not worth it anymore. Go to Umeda for the same price.
Love this spot! Great sushi and the chef is hilarious.
So delicious. Perfect for a quick lunch. Concept is simple seat yourself and then go ahead and choose the rolls you want. They have a preset menu as well and you can add on hand rolls. I went with five hand rolls and was absolutely stuffed. The fish was fresh and up to the Sushi Ikestandard. The sushi chef will keep an eye on your progress and present you with your next roll so they keep up with your tempo of eating. Parking is limited but there is a lot for a small fee right next door.
Always the best place. Make sure to book as usually it pretty full. Choose counter to sit!
Great sushi at decent price.
Best sushi in LA and I have had a lot.
Omakase was so delicious!
The best sushi in Los Angeles ! Nori Sans gave us an amazing experience explanations everything he made and served us. Definitely coming back here. Every piece of sushi was so beautiful, and it melted in our mouths.
